Graham Jones

Graham Jones is a purple-wearing, puzzle-doing, pie-baking, picture book maker. Graham earned his MFA in Writing for Young People from Lesley University where he was mentored by well-known authors Jason Reynolds, Cynthia Platt, Tracey Baptiste, and Michelle Knudsen.

A Professor of Linguistic Anthropology at M.I.T., he teaches classes on magic, play, and learning. Reflecting his own family’s diversity, Graham’s writing celebrates underrepresented perspectives and unconventional storytelling.
